Product Description

Product applications and intended uses

Suitable for DC motor drives powering hoists with motor power exceeding 500 kW, this system can control both geared and low-speed direct-drive hoists. It is designed to work seamlessly with single-rope and multi-rope DC mine hoists used in coal mines and non-ferrous metal mines. When paired with the YXPD-BPHK-ZKT intelligent networked master console, it enables fully networked, smart control functionality.

Product Performance

  1. Equipped with imported, original Siemens and ABB DC speed controllers, the main circuit features constant magnetic field control, reversible armature operation, and either series or parallel 12-pulse configurations—complete with all essential protection functions.

  2. Utilizing all-digital thyristor rectifier control and closed-loop magnetic field current regulation, it achieves weak-field speed control, four-quadrant fully automatic operation, S-shaped anti-impact design, along with high energy efficiency and low harmonic distortion.

  3. Thyristor-based systems can be configured as 6-pulse, 12-pulse series, or 12-pulse parallel units. In the case of a 12-pulse series configuration, if one set of thyristor devices fails, the system can automatically switch to a 6-pulse mode, operating at full load but at half speed.

  4. The system features smooth startup performance, excellent torque characteristics, and exceptional overload capacity—capable of handling loads ranging from -200% to +200%, while seamlessly supporting four-quadrant operation throughout the entire speed range. Operation at low speeds remains exceptionally stable; even at as low as 0.01 m/s, the system delivers maximum torque output. Moreover, when negative forces are encountered, the system automatically switches between forward and reverse thyristor groups, ensuring unparalleled safety and reliability.

  5. Comprehensive protection features include overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, short circuit, phase failure, and temperature protection.

  6. The human-machine interface is user-friendly, allowing convenient control of the DC speed control unit to perform various functions via the operation panel. It features clear display capabilities, showing real-time parameters and fault codes during the device's operation.
